Fissure

The fissure in the wall runs around three sides of the room - slicing through the wall, doors and architraves and challenging the structure of the room. Voids within the walls channel light, into and through surfaces, connecting awareness of the adjacent spaces.

The work inhabits the space partly through suggesting alternative geomorphologies of solidity.
