As part of Architecture Week
2006, Brightblue Studio installed a series of sculptural works
around Tynemouth Station, inviting visitors to consider the past,
present and future of the structure. The station’s columns were clad
using materials in sequence. Pop up models explored alternative
forms under the canopy.
Future Platforms was exhibited
alongside an ‘open studio’ day, which invited visitors to use
origami and paper modelling.
