The Screen acts as both
surface and frame, separator and communicator.
Based around the ideas and
perceptions of void, or a gap in comprehension, the pattern is
inspired by travels in the Middle East. The Screen is more
than 1800 pieces of glass on edge.
Part of the 2001 exhibition,
Touching the Void: Glass Sculpture and Architectural Glass by
Henry Amos, it mixes technical mastery with fun to find some fresh
insight into edge and enclosure.
The screen was 750mm x 40mm x
1350mm
